The Beautiful Dahlia

I love Dahlias! They are so beautiful with their great diversity of blooms. Also, it's hard to take a bad photograph of a Dahlia. This one was processed with a minimal amount of Topaz Glow. I also used Helicon Focus to combine 42 images into one so that I could get as sharp an image as possible.

Orange Rose

I bought this rose at Trader Joe's in a bouquet of eight yesterday. They had so many different colors and all for $3.99. I also got a pink one. It's hard to pick with so many to choose from. I took this photo with my SonyA7RII and processed it with a minimal amount of Topaz Impression to give it some texture, although very faint. I like my flowers...

Golden Sunflower

I found some gorgeous Sunflowers yesterday that I couldn't resist. This variety of sunflower is called "ProCut Gold Sunflower" due primarily to its deep golden petals. I've posted a couple pictures, which you can see by clicking on the photo on the right or by clicking on "Read the Full Post".

Multi-Colored Dahlia

I found another Dahlia at Trader Joe's yesterday. I think that they are one of the most beautiful flowers because of their vibrant colors. I used just a small amount of Topaz Glow in post processing.

Gerbera Daisy Close-up

I always seem to gravitate towards Gerbera Daisies. Here is another example. There are so many colors and variations in the petals. Also, they are unusually large, which makes them easier to photograph up close.
